How do you separate a living room to make one a complete personal space and the other a formal living area? We say, by exploring the possibilities of parametric designs. Thinking how? Let’s find out…
The brief for us before revamping this building into a home was that it should comprehend the client’s tastes and aspirations. Taking a lead from it, our experts went on to create a home that could cater to her diverse requirements. The personal living space carried the flavors of vibrancy and coziness to match her age. On the other hand, she needed the formal living room to reflect the elegance and style of a professional space where she would engage with guests from work. A feeling of privacy was also needed for this space.
Our experts brainstormed and came up with this brilliant idea of a veil crafted using parametric designs. The peculiarity of this veil is that it has a layer effect that gives a shade of privacy to the room yet does not cover it completely. The veil is crafted out of MDF boards that are cut through CNC machines and lacquer painted to give the glazed look.
The ceiling height of this building was a challenge for our designers as it was an already built structure. So, coming up with alternate ideas were the only possibility. To break the monotony of the plain ceiling, we provided the center part with a simple edging made out of POP. The golden lining around the circle and the crystal chandelier added more exquisiteness to the ceiling.
From the curtain layers to the furnishings, each decor of the room is color-themed in red and creme. The wall panels are exclusively crafted in leather to enhance the finesse of the walls. The artistically put together painting gives distinctiveness to the leather panel walls and make it look neoteric as she wished for. Thus, a classic formal living space for a young and ambitious woman took shape.
